Horn Cote Barn is a lovingly restored historic oak & stone 18th Century farmhouse, barn & converted stables oozing charm & character. It is a stunning venue that never fails to 'wow' everyone who stays. It's the perfect venue for celebrating special occasions such as hen parties, family birthdays & special anniversaries. We have a wealth of over 12 years experience & have taken pride in helping with all activities & arrangements you may need before & during your stay ensuring Horn Cote gives you 'that little bit extra'!

Horn Cote Barn provides outstanding spacious, 17th century. It is a fabulous venue in Yorkshire for a large party but we specialise in being Holmfirth Hens. The accommodation is within a Farmhouse, Barn and Piggery, offering premier accommodation & outside spaces for exceptional celebrations & get-togethers.  Due to the properties layout there is flexibility in how it is used.  It can be rented as a 4 bed 3 bathroom house or as a large property sleeping 26.  With both rentable options you have the sole use of the sauna & hot tub!

Guests at Horn Cote can contact the owners or the property manager to answer any questions during their stay.

A guest handbook is provided in the property full of information on the house & things to do in the beautiful surrounding area. It is also provided to the lead guests when check in details are provided.

With prior notice guests can have access to the private therapy room, where skilled therapists will treat you to personalised beauty & holistic treatments. Leaving you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated & ready to party the night away!

If you need any catering during your stay we can organise this for you. Here are just some of the options available to you & your guests:

*Gourmet Dining Experience with Private Chef. A delicious 3 or 4-course meal, chef prepared & cooked on the premises, served in the dining hall. Extensive menu with choices to suit even the most discerning of palates & dietary requirements.

Our Chef will be happy to discuss any special menu requirements you have & supply a price.

*Grazing Table

Hugely popular at the moment! This menu has a large selection of meat charcuterie, both cured meats with terrines, pates & chutneys, a cheese board, burger sliders, seafood, artisan breads, fresh fruit, olives, veg crudites with hummus & dips.

A great menu that allows you to socialise & indulge with your friends!

*One-Pot Party / Supper Club

Great at any time but especially popular on the first evening when guests might be arriving at different times & sitting down to eat is always a great start to any stay.

You might like to add a dessert or two to finish off!

An easy dining alternative. A pot (or two!) will be delivered to Horn Cote Barn – perfect for a low-key, relaxed evening.

A gorgeous selection of hot English items, fruit salads, tea, coffee & fruit juices, pastries, cured meat charcuterie & cheeses, artisan breads & jams … a fantastic lunch alternative

*Murder Mystery + 3-Course Dining Experience

Why not add an evening of mystery & intrigue to your 3-course Gourmet Dining Experience? Actors will arrive with props & outfits & will co-ordinate the evening … all you need to do is enjoy yourselves & solve the mystery!

*Afternoon Tea Party

Set up for you in our gorgeously spacious dining hall. You will enjoy a selection of seasonal sandwiches, home-made cakes & fancies served with Yorkshire Tea & cafetiere coffee. This package is completely set up & tidied away for you.

A selection of light bites … perfect with chilled Prosecco. A great way to start the weekend on Friday or as a Saturday afternoon treat & an alternative to afternoon tea. You might like to add a Butler in the Buff, or two, for even more fun!

Horn Cote Barn has fantastic outside spaces – large courtyard, two large grassed garden areas, covered open barn area with atmospheric lighting – so why not enjoy them as nature intended with a delicious BBQ? Our classic BBQ menu will fill you up ready to carry on with the fun.

Meat, chicken, haloumi, vegetables, salads – every dietary requirement catered for. Seafood & fish available with a supplement.

*Horn Cote Barns Hearty Breakfast  

This is perfect after a night of partying or just an indulgent start to the day. You’ll be back up & running with a delicious Full Yorkshire breakfast extravaganza … served with tea, coffee & fruit juice

*Butlers in the Buff

For a bit of cheeky fun, why not add a Butler in the Buff, or two, to any of the above dining experiences? – might be a little early at breakfast though! Our flirty butlers will wait on you, serve drinks, play games & pose for photos for as long as you want them to!

*Prices listed on Airbnb are based on 16 guests.  Any additional guests will be charged at an additional £250 pp for 2 nights.  A full quotation will be sent when your enquiry is responded to.  

*Can we decorate the house?
Of course Decorations are absolutely welcome and we offer early check‑in from 1:00pm for up to 5 guests if booked directly so you can get everything set up before the rest of the group arrives.  Through Airbnb check in is 3pm!
